Accommodations
BLUE SWAN sleeps 4 owners and guests in 2 staterooms, plus 2 dinette and 1 settee berths for a total of 7 berths. The master stateroom is aft with head, shower and twin beds. There is one guest stateroom including 1 guest head and 1 guest shower. Headroom is good throughout 6'5" adding to the spaciousness of this special yacht. The teak interior is satin finished varnish. Storage is ample, easily accommodating your families longer cruises. The cushions throughout BLUE SWAN are light blue and in good condition. The sliding doors above the forward berths have wicker inserts while other locker doors are louvered and doors inside the heads are raised panel. The quality of construction stands out from the teak and holly sole to the easy to clean fiberglass head liner. Aft of the forward stateroom is the large salon. BLUE SWAN has great ventilation with 10 opening ports and 4 hatches with screens. Each area of the yacht has ventilation and good natural lighting helping to make the vessel seem larger than she is. There are four well placed fans. Aft to port is the navigation/chart station. Aft to starboard is the galley which forms the companionway to the aft stateroom. BLUE SWAN is equipped with an ESPAR diesel heater with three outlets. Two sets of Brass instruments are aboard. A tide clock and barometer are in the main salon and a clock, barometer and thermometer are in the aft stateroom.
Galley
Aft to starboard is the large galley with the companionway to the aft stateroom. The double s/s sinks are facing mid-ships with good countertop space, hot and cold pressure water and good storage. The propane Shipmate stove has three burners and oven. Sea Frost refrigerator '99 and freezer are the cold plate design. The outboard portion of the galley is countertop space when needed, including over the stove. There is good storage behind the stove and refrigerator. This galley makes the task of meal preparation easy and safe while at sea or dockside. It is close to the cockpit and dinette.

Equipped for cruising; aluminum spar stepped on keel; stainless wire standing rigging; Hood Seafurl roller furling; 3 regular and 4 self-tailing Lewmar winches; manual boom vang; 5 Dacron Hood sails; whisker pole; mainsheet traveler; the whisker pole is mounted to the mast. The centerboard winch is a heavy duty Merriman mounted to the port coaming of the cockpit. BLUE SWAN has the HOOD STOWAY System making it easy to sail short handed. SAILS - HOOD Main (363 sq. ft), HOOD 130% Genoa. There is an outboard Genoa track and the shrouds are covered with oak roller guards. The sail plan is complete and has been maintained well. Sails and winter cover maintained annually by Hathaway Reiser & Raymond.
